Welcome to Wiggle Sprouts Kids: Learning Made Playful
If you’re here because you believe learning doesn’t have to look like sitting at a desk all day, welcome. You’re in the right place.
I’m the mom behind Wiggle Sprouts Kids, and I’m a homeschool mom of two boys. Through homeschooling, I’ve learned that some of the best learning happens when children are moving, exploring, asking questions, getting messy, and following the things they genuinely love.
That’s where Wiggle Sprouts Kids began.
Why I Chose Homeschooling
For me, homeschooling is about more than academics.
I homeschool because I want to invest my time in my children. I want to discover what makes them curious, understand how they learn best, and be present for those little moments that eventually become big memories.
Childhood goes by so quickly. One day you’re helping them learn their letters, and the next they’re becoming more independent and discovering the world on their own.
I want to be part of that journey.
Learning Doesn’t Have to Be Perfect
One thing I’ve learned as a homeschool mom is that learning rarely looks perfect.
Some days we might sit down for an activity and everything goes exactly as planned.
Other days, the activity gets abandoned because my child found something much more interesting.
And that’s okay.
Maybe your child learns counting while playing with cars. Maybe they learn about science through a sensory bin. Maybe they practice letters while making a craft or learn about animals during a trip to the farm.
Learning is happening all around us.
That’s why my approach is simple:
Learning made playful.

For the Mom Who Is Just Getting Started
If you’re new to homeschooling, you don’t need to have everything figured out.
You don’t need a classroom.
You don’t need an expensive curriculum.
And you definitely don’t need to recreate everything you see online.
Start with your child.
What do they love?
What are they curious about?
How do they naturally play?
What makes them excited to learn?
Use those things as your starting point.
Because when children are interested, learning can feel less like a lesson and more like an adventure.
